Civil Surveyor
Job description
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant surveying roles.
Nationality: South Indian
Salary: As per company policies and candidate's experience.
Responsibilities:
- Topographical Survey: Conduct topographical surveys to gather data on land elevations, contours, and features.
- Hydrographic Survey: Perform hydrographic surveys to measure and map underwater features, such as water depths and submerged structures.
- GIS (Geographic Information Systems): Utilize GIS software to analyze and visualize spatial data collected during surveys.
- GPS (Global Positioning System): Use GPS equipment to determine accurately and record geographical coordinates during surveying activities.
- Data Collection: Collect and record survey data using various instruments and techniques, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Data Processing: Process and analyze survey data to generate maps, charts, and reports for project planning and development.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of survey data by adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate surveying activities with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to support project objectives.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to surveying activities.
