Job summary
Pioneer International Projects Management in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Design Engineer to undertake and review civil and structural design works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
The role involves design calculations, reviews, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering safe, efficient, and technically sound design solutions for buildings and infrastructure, with immediate joiners preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design.
- Proficiency in design and analysis software, such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of structural design codes, calculations, and documentation.
- Experience in PMC, EPC, engineering consultancy, or design consultancy environments desirable.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil and structural design calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and foundations.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, specifications and client requirements.
- Review submissions, shop drawings and technical documents.
- Identify design discrepancies and risks, proposing solutions.
- Respond to technical queries and provide clarifications during execution.
- Participate in design reviews and coordination workshops.

Bachelor s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
The Civil Structural Design Engineer to undertake and review civil and structural design works ensuring compliance with project specifications applicable codes and engineering standards. The role involves design calculations technical reviews coordination with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the delivery of safe efficient and technically sound design solutions.
- Prepare and review civil and structural design calculations drawings dynamic load calculation specifications and technical reports
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings foundations and other infrastructure elements
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes standards project specifications and client requirements
- Review design submissions shop drawings and technical documents
- Identify design discrepancies technical risks and interface issues and recommend solutions
- Respond to technical queries and provide design clarifications during project execution
- Participate in design reviews technical meetings and coordination workshops
