Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying.
• 5 years of experience in oil & gas projects is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with GCC work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs for construction works.
• Maintain the master quantity record with revised drawings.
• Prepare RFQ documents and evaluate commercial bids.
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve disputes.

Job description

We are looking for a Civil Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients with the following details:

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 24 months

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Site based role).

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in English
• GCC work experience preferred, especially in UAE

Services & Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs for construction works
• Maintain the master quantity record, updating it with revised drawings
• Prepare RFQ documents
• Evaluate commercial bids
• Prepare preambles, schedules of rates, bills of quantities, and estimations
• Prepare project cost reports and review them in coordination with the Commercial and Subcontracts Manager
• Review and certify subcontractor payment applications according to subcontract terms
• Collaborate with the project team to resolve subcontractor disputes, claims, and performance issues
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas projects
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software is required
