Job Description

1. Review and monitor material specifications and quality standards, workflow, processes, etc., and recommend adjustments if needed in order to comply with the company policies, client, and statutory requirements.
2. Conduct and coordinate regular inspections, ensuring that work, products, and documentation are prepared prior.
3. Address quality issues immediately and coordinate with concerned personnel to discuss measures to minimize quality risk.
4. Prepare and review all inspection reports for compliance.
5. Prepare and regularly (weekly) submit reports and maintain QC records.
6. Prepare QA/QC Performance Reports weekly, monthly, and annually, conduct non-conformance trend analysis, suggest remedial actions, and submit to Employer.
7. Ensure that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented by the Contractor on site, coordinating the required hold points with the Project Team.
8. Conduct Quality or technical compliance audits for Contractor, Sub Contractor, or Vendors.
9. Review QA/QC Procedures as submitted by the Contractors and ensure implementation is in compliance with AGREEMENT requirements.
10. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and recommend and implement improvements when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. At least 5 years of experience as QA/QC in the Construction field / Oil & Gas in UAE in a similar position or above.
3. Rotation with up and down ticket for offshore.
