Job description

ALEC Engineering and Contracting requires highly strict Civil QA/QC Engineers to control construction material quality, enforce structural design codes, and prevent catastrophic building failures across major Dubai mega-projects.

Daily Quality Tasks:

• Crush solid concrete cylinder samples inside the main site laboratory using heavy hydraulic machines to verify the exact compressive strength.
• Check the completely dry concrete walls for any hidden cracks or air bubbles (honeycombing) after the wooden shuttering is removed.
• Take clear digital photographs of every single approved steel column before the concrete covers it completely for future audit records.
• Stop all ongoing construction work immediately if the sub-contractors try to use cheap or unapproved building materials.

Rules for Selection:

• Technical Education: A fully attested Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is completely mandatory to secure the official Dubai engineering visa.
• Attention to Detail: Spotting a single missing steel binding wire inside a massive ten-meter concrete column requires extreme visual focus.
• Official Licensing: Holding an active Society of Engineers (SOE) membership and passing the Dubai Municipality G+12 approval exam.
