Role Overview

Orbit International Survey Services LLC seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer with a strong background in surveying operations and project execution. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with advanced survey tools and instruments such as Leica Trimble S5 and Total Station and demonstrate the ability to lead site-based engineering works related to infrastructure, industrial and oil & gas projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning through execution ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct site surveys using Leica Trimble S5 and Total Station to collect accurate field data for project design and implementation.
• Interpret and analyze topographic as-built and construction survey data.
• Coordinate with survey teams to ensure calibration and proper functioning of equipment.
• Prepare technical reports layout drawings and survey maps for internal and client use.
• Work closely with CAD/GIS teams to convert survey data into design outputs.
• Review project specifications drawings and BOQs to ensure accuracy of surveys and civil works.
• Collaborate with clients consultants and site supervisors to resolve on-site engineering and survey-related issues.
• Assist in cost estimation and material take-off based on field data and designs.
• Ensure all surveying and civil engineering tasks are carried out in line with HSE standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on surveying tools and technologies.
• Proven field experience using Leica survey equipment, Trimble S5 and Total Station.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar drafting software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site management.
• UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
