Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and coordinate construction activities for timely completion of projects.
2. Able to understand specifications/methodology and civil drawings/finishing activities.
3. Coordinate with project site teams & subcontractors, provide technical guidance and support, and ensure timely completion with required quality.
4. Co-ordinate with MEP and Finishing team to avoid any rework.
5. Conduct materials inspections check and prepare Material Approval Report (MAR) and Material Inspection Reports (MIR).
6. Conduct site work inspections and quality checks and keep records.
7. Address problems that might arise during construction.
8. Prepare project schedules, monitor daily progress, and ensure work completion as per agreed timeline.
9. Liaison with quantity surveyors/Purchase team about the ordering and purchasing of necessary materials.
10. Assist in the preparation of project budgets, verify contractor’s invoice, and prepare payment recommendation as per the work order.
11. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
2. Proven minimum 5 years’ experience in managing civil/renovation work along with project management and team coordination.
3. Strong knowledge of construction materials and work techniques.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving abilities.

Skills:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other design management tools.
2. Familiarity with Project Management Software and tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
3. Knowledge of using SAP & ERP.
4. Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
