Job summary

Stantec in Dubai is seeking a Civil Examiner for a major project delivering metropolitan sewerage, TSE/Irrigation, and stormwater connections across multiple communities. You will work with designers to solve design issues and conduct site investigations.

Eligibility includes a Civil Engineering degree and 10+ years' experience, with hands-on work in pump stations, deep excavations, water retention structures, diversions, and dewatering. Full-time, permanent position with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Design or an equivalent engineering program.
• At least 10 years of work experience.
• Experience with pump stations, deep excavations, water retaining structures, energies diversions, dewatering, pavement/roadworks, and pipes.
• DM authorization is a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and service provider's staff to establish as well as validate job needs.
• Preparing assessment reports as well as site records.
• Carrying out civil as well as structural tests.
• Providing basic assessment on all construction labor as well as subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
• Recognizing non-conforming jobs, generating reports and rehabilitative actions.
