KEO Group in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Civil Inspector to join our project team on a large-scale building program. The role focuses on on-site inspections in line with Civil/Structural ITPs, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, codes and safety requirements.

You will review IRs, monitor quality and progress, coordinate between disciplines, and maintain daily records and NCR reporting. A Diploma or Bachelor in Civil Engineering with about 10 years’ experience in Abu Dhabi projects is expected.

• 10 years of work experience in civil engineering.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect on-site construction works in accordance with Civil/Structural ITPs.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications and codes.
• Report non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor quality and safety on site and maintain daily activity records.
• Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and NCRs when needed.
• Ensure coordination between discipline-related works and other specialties.
• Provide technical input to resolve site-related issues.

Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Civil Inspector to join our team based on our project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the Civil/Structural related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
• Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Checking and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 10 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience gained from working on large-scale building projects in Abu Dhabi is being looked for.
