Job summary

ABU ALNAGA CONTRACTING is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman for a high-rise building construction project in Dubai. You will supervise site activities, coordinate manpower, and ensure civil works are completed safely, efficiently, and to approved drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting shop drawings, coordinating with site engineers and subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping and safe working conditions on site.
• Report progress, manpower needs, material shortages to the Site Engineer/General Foreman.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our High-Rise Building Construction Project . The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating manpower, and ensuring civil works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities and site manpower.
• Manage works including concrete, blockwork, plastering, screeding, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Read and interpret construction and shop drawings.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, subcontractors, MEP teams, and other trades.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure activities meet project schedules.
• Inspect completed works and ensure defects are rectified promptly.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, PPE, and safe working practices .
• Manage materials, tools, and manpower efficiently while minimizing wastage.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions on site.
• Report daily progress, manpower requirements, material shortages, and site issues to the Site Engineer/General Foreman.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant civil construction experience .
• Previous experience as a Civil Foreman in high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building construction and finishing works.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity .
