A Civil Estimation Engineer analyzes project plans and specifications to create accurate cost estimates for construction projects. They also monitor project costs during construction, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain a database of cost information. Responsibilities of a Civil Estimation Engineer:

  • Analyzing project documents:Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Preparing cost estimates:Developing detailed estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborating with teams:Working with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate estimates.
