Job summary

Dubai Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Civil Engineer with at least 1 year of professional civil construction experience. The role focuses on testing, inspection, documentation, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subs, and prepare key project drawings and handover materials. The position is full-time and follows a morning shift, based in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant professional experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or building projects.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles.
• Willingness to travel is not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing and inspection of materials and completed works.
• Ensure construction activities comply with building codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Support preparation and review of as-built drawings and handover documents.
• Assist with snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with designs, specs, quality standards and safety.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Prepare and review method statements, submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, approvals, inspections, correspondence, and technical documents.
• Identify risks, delays, and technical problems and report to project management.
• Ensure site activities follow applicable HSE requirements.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to management and clients.
• Liaise with authorities and consultants when required.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work meets project requirements.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.
