Job summary

Al Ummah Contracting in Dubai invites a Civil Site Engineer with GCC/UAE experience to join their 30-year-old construction team. The role focuses on supervising residential construction on-site, ensuring drawings, specs, and safety standards are followed.

You will coordinate with contractors and suppliers, inspect site quality, review BOQs and shop drawings, and resolve technical issues to keep the project on track, while upholding Dubai Municipality requirements and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years GCC/UAE construction experience in residential projects.
• Experience supervising on-site construction activities.
• Ability to review drawings, BOQs and shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality and regulatory standards.
• Excellent coordination with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental protocols.

A 30 year old construction company in Dubai, UAE is looking to hire a civil engineer for a position of Civil Site Engineer who's role is to make the following:

• 5 years GCC and preferable UAE experience in the in construction of residential buildings
• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure work progress aligns with the project timeline.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks; ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and other regulatory standards.
• Assist in resolving technical issues on-site and provide engineering solutions where necessary.
• Ensure that materials used and workmanship comply with project standards and specifications.
• Review and verify site measurements, BOQs, and shop drawings.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.
