Responsibilities

• Developing plans for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage systems, sewers etc.
• Analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
• Estimating costs and preparing budgets for projects
• Designing roadways, bridges and other structures using computer-aided design software
• Monitoring work progress on construction sites to ensure that specifications are met according to agreed deadlines.
• Writing reports related to civil engineering projects including feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments etc.
