Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints and other data to plan projects.
• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures.
• Consider costs, regulations, environmental hazards and other factors.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials or labor.
• Develop plans for layout using design software.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Direct construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
