Job summary

JobCenter in Sharjah is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team and lead planning, design, and oversight of diverse projects in roads, bridges, tunnels and buildings.

The role requires project management experience and the ability to coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to maintain schedule and budget adherence. The successful candidate will work on a variety of civil engineering tasks from feasibility through construction and handover.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a civil engineer.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM or other relevant software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Developing detailed designs for civil engineering projects.
• Undertaking feasibility studies.
• Carrying out structural analysis and calculations.
• Supervising the drafting and surveying teams during the design process.
• Managing budgets and project costs.
• Organizing materials procurement.
• Providing technical advice on civil engineering issues.
• Ensuring project compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
