Job description

• Design and enforce project-specific Quality Assurance/Control plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and method statements in alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
• On-Site Quality Control
• Monitor all site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Inspection & Testing
• Conduct inspections and supervise material testing (concrete, backfilling, pipe materials, etc.), weld inspections, and pressure testing for pipelines.
• Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
• Identify non-conformances (NCRs), suggest corrective actions, and ensure their closure in collaboration with site and project management teams.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation including daily quality reports, inspection checklists, material approval sheets, and calibration logs.
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors for approvals and quality audits.
• Standards Compliance
• Ensure adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001, ASTM, BS/EN codes relevant to infrastructure works.

Project Exposure Required:

• Water and wastewater pipelines (HDPE, GRP, DI, etc.)
• Large-scale reservoirs and water tanks
• Sewerage systems and pump stations
• Manholes, chamber works, and stormwater drainage systems

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in infrastructure projects.
• Certifications: QA/QC certification (e.g., ISO 9001:2015), and knowledge of local authority (e.g., DM, DEWA, ADM) standards is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation systems.
• Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
