- Design and enforce project-specific Quality Assurance/Control plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and method statements in alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
- On-Site Quality Control
- Monitor all site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Inspection & Testing
- Conduct inspections and supervise material testing (concrete, backfilling, pipe materials, etc.), weld inspections, and pressure testing for pipelines.
- Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Identify non-conformances (NCRs), suggest corrective actions, and ensure their closure in collaboration with site and project management teams.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation including daily quality reports, inspection checklists, material approval sheets, and calibration logs.
- Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and third-party inspectors for approvals and quality audits.
- Standards Compliance
- Ensure adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001, ASTM, BS/EN codes relevant to infrastructure works.
Project Exposure Required:
- Water and wastewater pipelines (HDPE, GRP, DI, etc.)
- Large-scale reservoirs and water tanks
- Sewerage systems and pump stations
- Manholes, chamber works, and stormwater drainage systems
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in infrastructure projects.
- Certifications: QA/QC certification (e.g., ISO 9001:2015), and knowledge of local authority (e.g., DM, DEWA, ADM) standards is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation systems.
- Language: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
