Job summary

LARSEN TOUBRO LIMITED is seeking a Construction Supervisor for Solar PV projects in Abu Dhabi. The role includes supervising the installation of tracker foundations and ensuring compliance with OEM guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have 4-10 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years specific to utility-scale Solar PV projects. Experience with tracker-based solar plants is highly preferred, and candidates with GCC/Middle East experience will have an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of tracker foundations, mounting structures, torque tubes, bearings, drive units, dampers, and PV modules.
• Ensure correct alignment, leveling, torque tightening, and installation of tracker systems.
• Coordinate civil readiness before tracker installation.
• Supervise module installation as per approved layout drawings.
• Verify pile locations, tracker geometry, and structural tolerances.
• Coordinate with survey, civil, electrical, QA/QC, and commissioning teams.
• Monitor subcontractor productivity and daily progress.
• Review IFC drawings, installation manuals, and vendor procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OEM installation guidelines.
• Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate QA/QC inspections.
• Prepare daily progress reports and material reconciliation reports.
• Monitor material handling and storage of PV modules and tracker components.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and permit‑to‑work requirements.
• Support pre‑commissioning and mechanical completion activities.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of construction experience.
