Job summary

Ejadah is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong Facilities Management background to manage civil maintenance across our facilities in the UAE. The role focuses on civil maintenance supervision, including PPM, reactive maintenance, inspections and working with contractors to ensure quality, safety and timely delivery.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and proven FM/building maintenance exposure, with strong report writing and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Mandatory FM/building maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil maintenance and building fabric works.
• Experience with PPM, reactive maintenance, work orders, inspections, snagging and contractor supervision.
• Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems for managing work orders (Maximo referenced).
• Good reporting, documentation and MS Office skills.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• UAE/GCC FM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil maintenance works within FM operations (planned and reactive).
• Inspect and assess civil-related complaints, defects and maintenance needs.
• Oversee tiling, painting, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, gypsum/ceiling, carpentry, interlock and other building fabric works.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare snag lists and maintenance reports.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, vendors and service providers to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor work orders and closures of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare scopes of work and coordinate quotations and contractor activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and compliance with requirements.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE, quality and FM requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Support SLA/KPI performance and progress tracking.
• Coordinate with clients and internal FM teams on defects and maintenance progress.
• Provide support for emergency and urgent civil maintenance as needed.
