Civil Engineer (Engineering Department)

Currently, we are seeking a Civil Engineer (Engineering Department) with a solid relevant technical background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and supervise technical aspects of various projects;
• Ensure adherence to procedures, specifications, and project standards by all team members;
• Assess and critique geotechnical studies and their implications;
• Calculate foundations for structures and equipment, including direct and pile foundations;
• Design foundations for equipment subjected to dynamic actions;
• Design foundations and structures (steel/concrete), trays, and pipe supports;
• Calculate buried facilities such as rafts, pits, manholes, buried pipes, and ditches;
• Approve steel structure workshop plans and connections;
• Manage software tools like STAAD Pro, FOUNDATION 3D, 3D MAT, SAP, etc.;
• Ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets for engineering hours and work units;
• Contribute to project improvements, including cost reduction and progress recovery;
• Coordinate subcontractor activities;
• Verify the absence of interferences between departments and within disciplines;
• Review and check discipline drawings and vendor documents;
• Communicate changes and ongoing activities to the Discipline Leader;
• Monitor proper use of tools such as NCD, PPA, NVAT, DOCUMENTUM, LESSONS LEARNED;
• Apply quality control procedures;
• Participate in developing lessons learned and resource planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;
• At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry;
• Proficiency in engineering software tools such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Foundation 3D, etc.;
• Experience in Ras Laffan or Middle East oil & gas & petrochemical projects is advantageous;
• Willingness and ability to work on-site or remotely as required.
