DAR AL SABAH TRANSPORT LLC is looking for a skilled project manager to oversee construction projects in Umm al-Quwain, UAE. The role involves planning, supervising site operations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while coordinating with various stakeholders.
Ideal candidates should have expertise in surveying, project scheduling, and quality control. Responsibilities include conducting surveys, preparing reports, and assisting with project estimation and budgeting to ensure timely completion of milestones.
Conduct land and construction surveys using surveying equipment and verify site levels, boundaries and layouts. Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate execution of work.
Prepare site layouts, setting‑out works and coordinate with survey teams for accurate positioning of structures. Plan and schedule construction activities in accordance with project timelines and resource availability. Supervise day‑to‑day site operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and according to approved drawings.
Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations and industry standards. Coordinate with consultants, architects, subcontractors and clients to resolve technical and construction‑related issues. Inspect construction materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports highlighting work completed, delays, manpower and equipment utilization.
Track project progress against the construction schedule and recommend corrective actions when required. Prepare quantity take‑offs, measurements and assist in billing and payment certification. Review and verify subcontractor work and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Maintain accurate site documentation including inspection reports, work records, material logs and test results. Ensure implementation of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations on the construction site. Conduct site inspections and identify quality or safety issues implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Assist in preparing method statements, work procedures and risk assessments for construction activities. Coordinate procurement of materials and monitor inventory to prevent work delays. Attend project meetings and provide technical updates to project managers and stakeholders. Support project planning by preparing work programs, resource allocation plans and progress tracking reports using scheduling software.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, engineering standards and client requirements. Perform as‑built measurements and prepare as‑built drawings and project handover documentation. Resolve site‑related engineering issues through technical analysis and practical solutions. Monitor labor productivity, equipment performance and construction costs to improve project efficiency. Assist in project estimation, budgeting and cost control activities. Ensure timely completion of project milestones while maintaining quality and safety standards.
