Civil Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Civil engineer must design, develop and supervise a range of projects related to the security systems installation from conception through to completion.

KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

1. Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale civil works related to the Security Systems Projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
2. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).
3. Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
4. Assess potential risks, materials, and costs.
5. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
6. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
7. Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.
8. Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
9. Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
10. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
11. Quality control of civil works.
12. Preparation of civil work scope and method statement.
13. Preparation of technical proposal to submit to the client.
14. Identification of existing materials and specifications.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

1. Bachelors/ Diploma of Civil Engineering.
2. Certification UAE Municipality Authorities, Licensing of Professional Engineering.

Work Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years where he/she is exposed to all Civil Related Projects.
2. Good Project Management skills.
3. Good people management skills.
