Role Description

This is a full-time Civil Engineer role based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be completed from home. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs and drawings, supporting project planning, and coordinating with site teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Daily activities include performing calculations, checking design compliance with relevant codes, assisting in stormwater and drainage layouts, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The role also involves monitoring construction progress, resolving technical issues, and contributing to quality control and safety standards on assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, including the ability to develop and review drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on infrastructure or building projects, with an understanding of local regulations and industry standards.
• Planning skills for organizing project tasks, scheduling activities, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management and drainage system design, including hydraulics and hydrology principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar design tools) and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, standards, and permitting processes is an advantage.
• Previous experience in Dubai or the wider GCC region is beneficial.
