Role

We are seeking a Civil AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in structural and geotechnical drawings related to piling, shoring, excavation support, and foundation works. The candidate should be detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate, coordinated drawings in line with engineering design and site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings for piling, shoring, anchoring, foundation, and grouting works.
• Develop cross-sections, profiles, and layout plans based on geotechnical and structural design inputs.
• Coordinate with site engineers and design teams to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.
• Modify and update drawings based on design changes, site revisions, or authority comments.
• Assist in preparing presentation drawings or submission packages for consultant / authority approvals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and CAD drafting guidelines.
• Maintain a well-organized drawing register and document control practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of drafting experience in a civil / geotechnical or foundation contracting company.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D is a plus).
• Experience in preparing drawings for bored piles, secant piles, sheet piles, H-beam shoring, anchors, and ground improvement works.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and other UAE authority drawing standards is preferred.
• Ability to interpret geotechnical reports, structural drawings, and survey data.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver drawings within tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Revit, Civil 3D, or other drafting software is an advantage.
