CIVIL DRAFTSMAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and develop detailed civil drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for construction projects.
• Coordinate with project teams including site engineers, architects, and other trades, ensuring smooth workflow and resolving technical issues.
• Work on low-rise building projects with intensive civil works.
• Create and modify BBS (Bar Bending Schedules), rebar detailing, and structural drawings with accuracy.
• Prepare drawings related to infrastructure works (manual experience required).
• Assist in the preparation of architectural and fit-out package drawings when needed.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and UAE construction standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other drafting software; experience in 3D software is a plus but not mandatory.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions as per project updates.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction drafting experience in the GCC (UAE experience preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with civil/infrastructure drafting standards.
• Strong understanding of BBS rebar detailing and civil structural works.
• Coordination experience with multidisciplinary teams (civil, MEP, architectural, etc.).
• Experience in architectural/fit-out drawings is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Locally available in the UAE are ideal.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
