Job summary

White Spot Facilities Management Services LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Procurement specialist for civil projects to manage end-to-end material and subcontractor procurement, ensuring timely delivery and conformance with project specs.

You will source suppliers, prepare RFQs, POs and contracts, negotiate favorable terms, build vendor relationships, monitor performance, and coordinate with project teams while upholding budgets and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5-6 years of procurement experience within civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, vendor sourcing, and contract negotiations.
• Experience preparing RFQs, purchase orders, comparative statements, and procurement reports.
• Understanding of budgets, cost control, and procurement planning.
• Experience in snagging and Defects Liability Period (DLP) activities is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for civil projects.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions.
• Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project, planning, and site teams to meet project procurement requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, material quality, and compliance with project specifications.
• Handle snagging and DLP procurement requirements and coordinate rectification activities.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, budgets, and contractual obligations.
