Job description

Job Title: Cisco VoIP Engineer

We are seeking a Cisco VoIP engineer with 5-6 years of experience. Kindly share your CV to [e-mail] at the earliest. Candidates should be locally available in UAE. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Responsibilities

1. Provide daily administrative, engineering, and upgrade support for CUCM, CUC, UCCX, VMware, and Cisco UCS Series servers.
2. Perform analysis, design, development, programming/debugging, testing, and certification of Cisco UC applications and hardware.
3. Perform end-user Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes within the UC environment.
4. Support Cisco UC environment with basic routing, switching, and security skills.
5. Participate in project teams with engineers, project managers, and technical staff.
6. Troubleshoot end-user and system issues in the Cisco UC environment.
7. Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute technical projects, often requiring expert analysis and guidance.
8. Conduct daily VoIP system checks, maintaining device availability at 99.98% or better.
9. Update system documentation, write project plans for upgrades and maintenance, and create/update user manuals.
10. Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to system evolution planning through market research and reports.
11. Provide daily system status reports to COTR/Team members, including issues identified and actions taken or needed.
12. Present maintenance and upgrade tickets to the Change Control Board (CCB) for approval.
13. Practice robust knowledge management and documentation to facilitate resource onboarding during surge or emergency operations.
