Job summary

VaporVM is seeking an experienced Cisco Network Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise network architecture across Data Center, WAN, Cloud, and Security domains in the UAE. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and high-performance networks aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.

The incumbent will lead BGP/OSPF/MPLS/VXLAN EVPN initiatives, modernize networks, and ensure ISO 27001 compliance while mentoring L2/L3 and NOC teams.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years in large enterprise networks.
• Minimum 5 years in a Network Architect role.
• Experience in modernization, automation, and transformation initiatives.
• CCNP is mandatory; higher degrees and cloud networking certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise-wide network architecture across LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud, and Security environments.
• Architect BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VXLAN EVPN-based network solutions.
• Lead network modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Implement and manage NAC, IPS/IDS, VPN, and ZTNA security solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and applicable regulatory standards.
• Define enterprise network standards, policies, and best practices.
• Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and network optimization initiatives.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and vulnerability evaluations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to L2/L3 and NOC teams.
• Design Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) network architectures.
• Prepare and maintain HLD, LLD, and MOP documentation.
• Manage vendor relationships and technical escalations.
• Provide onsite and remote support as per client requirements.

This is an
onsite role based in the UAE, with preference given to candidates currently
available in the UAE.

Key

Secondary
Skills (Preferred)

• End-user connectivity devices (mobile, laptops, wireless-enabled

Experience
