Job summary

Caiz is the first Islamic ecosystem built on blockchain, aiming to create a Fiqh compliant financial ecosystem that provides fair and easy access to ethical financial products and services.

The company seeks a visionary IT and Blockchain Leader to drive its technology strategy, advance DeFi and Web3 initiatives, and ensure secure, scalable architecture across global markets. This role requires seniority, regulatory know-how, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT leadership in crypto, blockchain, or fintech.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain protocols, DeFi, NFTs, and Layer 1/Layer 2 solutions.
• Expertise in smart contracts (Solidity, Rust), Web3 frameworks, and crypto wallets.
• Cybersecurity, cloud computing, and distributed ledgers.
• Experience with GDPR, AML/KYC, and global crypto regulations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's IT and blockchain strategy to align with business goals.
• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge blockchain, DeFi, and Web3 technologies.
• Oversee the development and integration of smart contracts, DeFi apps, and tokenized financial products.
• Lead the design and maintenance of secure and efficient blockchain architecture.
• Manage the development of crypto wallets, payment gateways, and digital asset management solutions.
• Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect crypto assets and user data.
• Ensure all IT operations align with Shariah-compliant finance principles.
• Work closely with legal teams to comply with global crypto regulations (GDPR, FATF, SEC).
• Lead and mentor the IT & blockchain development team.
