An established industry player is seeking a skilled Cinematographer to join their creative team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Director to define the visual style and tone of productions, ensuring high-quality standards throughout filming. Your expertise in camera systems, lighting techniques, and composition will be crucial as you plan and execute cinematography, supervise crews, and participate in post-production processes. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director to define the visual style and tone of the production.
Plan and execute all aspects of cinematography including camera angles, movement, shot composition, and lighting.
Select appropriate camera equipment, lenses, filters, and lighting gear.
Supervise camera and lighting crews during production.
Conduct camera tests and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Work with the production team to create shot lists and storyboards.
Ensure visual continuity and high-quality standards throughout filming.
Maintain awareness of budget and schedule constraints while achieving artistic goals.
Participate in post-production processes such as color grading and review.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cinematographer or Director of Photography.
Strong knowledge of digital and traditional camera systems, lighting, and filmmaking techniques.
Ability to interpret the Directors vision and translate it into visual storytelling.
Excellent understanding of composition, framing, and camera movement.
Experience working in different filming environments (indoor, outdoor, studio).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in video editing and color grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere).
Experience with drones, Steadicams, or specialty camera rigs.
Creative eye and attention to detail.
Adaptability and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
