Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy seeks a qualified Child Psychiatrist to join our medical team in Dubai. The role involves assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral conditions within a multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate will hold MBBS/MD or equivalent, with postgraduate training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and international board certification (UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, or equivalent).

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry, with specialization/training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Strong skills in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Experience managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism and behavioral disorders.
• Good communication and family counseling skills.
• Excellent teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral and psychiatric conditions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care.
• Engage in family counseling and psychoeducation to support care.
