You will work closely with our founding team to define our technical vision.

This is a full-time role based in Dubai, Lisbon, or fully remote worldwide (with frequent travel to Dubai).

Fluency in French and English is required.

YOUR MISSION

Think Nike meets Netflix, powered by neuroscience and soft skills, infused with AI, immersive media, and relentless execution. We need a visionary CTO to lead us there.

Your main goal will be to build the platform that powers our ecosystem.

You’ll shape the tech vision, architect scalable systems, and lead engineering efforts in close partnership with product teams, moving swiftly from idea to prototype to live product—crafting seamless learning experiences that differentiate us.

You’ll be part of the leadership team, guiding the evolution of our platform, product, and long-term performance.

Inspired by Apple, Nike, Spotify, Disney for their obsession with excellence, global impact, and experience creation, you will play a pivotal role in making Paradox an iconic brand.

Here are your 7 responsibilities:
  1. Architect the future of learning tech: Align tech with product, growth, and design for maximum impact; explore breakthrough tech like AI, speech recognition, adaptive engines, and mobile-native UX.
  2. Build the product & prototypes: Lead full-stack development, co-create MVPs, test, iterate, and ship fast, prioritizing simplicity and performance.
  3. Supercharge internal systems: Streamline infrastructure, automation, and tooling; choose the best tools to scale fast and stay lean; design scalable architectures for all business units.
  4. Drive data strategy & observability: Build a modern data stack for real-time decisions; implement pipelines, dashboards, and A/B testing; ensure full visibility on product metrics.
  5. Own delivery & prioritization: Translate vision into a roadmap; prioritize ruthlessly; manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs.
  6. Represent tech internally & externally: Speak at events, publish articles, build visibility; partner with business, product, and design teams.
  7. Lead your team to excellence: Mentor engineers, set high standards, foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, and high performance.
