Job Description

We are currently seeking a CTO – Smart Metering Programme to join our team.

The CTO will define the technical strategy and architecture for the Smart Metering Programme, ensuring all systems—Meters, communications services, HES, MDMS, and IT components—are secure, scalable, and interoperable. The role provides strategic oversight to technical leads across delivery streams. Acting as a senior advisor, the CTO ensures technology decisions align with client objectives, programme constraints, and Talan’s innovation and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technical vision, architecture, and standards.
• Oversee technology roadmap and system interoperability.
• Ensure cybersecurity, scalability, and resilience across platforms.
• Advise leadership on technology risks and innovation.
• Guide all technical leads (Meters, communications services, HES, MDMS, Integration, Testing).
