Job Purpose

The CTO will lead Legend Group’s technology vision and strategy, driving digital transformation across all business units. This executive role is accountable for architecture, implementation, and integration of enterprise systems, consumer digital platforms, applications, and emerging technologies to enable business growth, efficiency, and long-term innovation. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with technical expertise and a proven record in delivering complex, high-impact digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute the Group’s technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Advise senior leadership on technology trends and innovation, maintaining technology as a competitive advantage.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, innovative technology team; mentor talent and foster a digital-first culture.
  • Serve as principal technology advisor to the Group CEO and business unit leaders.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
  • Lead the creation and delivery of group-wide and BU-specific digital platforms, including consumer-facing apps, in collaboration with relevant BU heads to enhance customer engagement and operational excellence.
  • Drive the implementation of ERP, CRM, and business-critical applications across the Group.
  • Champion adoption of automation, AI, cloud, and advanced data analytics solutions.
  • Foster an environment for continuous innovation and scalable growth.
Technology Infrastructure & Operations
  • Ensure stable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure across all Group entities.
  • Oversee the integration of group-wide systems and platforms to deliver seamless business operations.
  • Establish governance for IT projects, vendor management, and data security.
  • Manage technology budgets, controlling costs and optimizing ROI.
Information Security & Compliance
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity strategies, ensuring the organization’s data and technology assets are safeguarded.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE and international data protection regulations and privacy requirements.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
Who Fits the Legend’s Seat
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive technology experience, with at least 5 years in a senior technology leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation and enterprise system/platform rollouts.
  • Strong expertise in ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, consumer and enterprise application integration, and new/emerging tech.
  • Proven ability to align technology with business strategy for measurable results.
