Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Chief Technician, Weapon Integration for the Halcon Mechatronics Department to lead the integration, assembly, and testing of precision-guided weapons and missile systems in a defence environment.

You will act as the technical bridge between engineering design and production, support ground and flight testing, manage ICDs, harness development, and ensure products meet performance, quality, and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 6-10 years of experience in guided weapons, missile systems, or defense integration programs.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, baseline management, and engineering documentation.
• Experience with manufacturing, testing, integration, and acceptance of complex electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, assembly, acceptance testing, and evaluation of guided weapons and missile systems.
• Manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs), harness development, and integration data packs.
• Develop and maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
• Train and mentor technicians while ensuring compliance with engineering processes and workflows.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Chief Technician, Weapon Integration for Halcon Mechatronics Department will lead the integration, assembly, and testing of precision-guided weapons and missile systems.Support ground testing, flight testing, and launch platform integration activities.Act as the technical bridge between engineering design and production teams.Ensure products meet performance, quality, and acceptance requirements within a defense environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform integration, assembly, acceptance testing, and evaluation of guided weapons and missile systems.
• Manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs), harness development, and integration data packs.
• Develop and maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
• Train and mentor technicians while ensuring compliance with engineering processes and workflows.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in guided weapons, missile systems, or defense integration programs.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, baseline management, and engineering documentation.
• Experience with manufacturing, testing, integration, and acceptance of complex electro-mechanical systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience within defense, aerospace, military, or missile development environments.
• Knowledge of guidance and control systems, weapon telemetry, and launch platform integration.
