The Company

Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key client are working together to source experienced and qualified talent for their office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Responsibilities

1. Technical Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technical roadmap aligned with the company’s global growth strategy.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams.
• Serve as the company’s technical authority on all matters related to solar PV, onshore wind, and BESS technologies.

2. Project Oversight & Execution

• Oversee the technical due diligence of project acquisitions and partnerships.
• Ensure optimal project design, engineering, and implementation across all markets.
• Lead the development and deployment of utility-scale and renewable energy projects, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new technologies, particularly around BESS, hydrogen, hybrid systems, and digital energy solutions.
• Identify and drive pilot programs or early-stage investments in disruptive clean energy technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D partners, OEMs, and technology providers.

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA highly preferred.
• 15+ years of technical and leadership experience in the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale solar, wind, and BESS projects across diverse geographies.
• Strong understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from site origination to financial close.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, regulatory navigation, and market analysis.
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and organizational skills.
• Hands on experience in integrating emerging technologies into commercial projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
• Deep passion for renewable energy and a vision for accelerating the energy transition.
