Role Purpose
The Chief Strategy & Ventures Officer (CSVO) is responsible for driving the strategic growth agenda, overseeing the identification, evaluation, and execution of new ventures, partnerships, and joint ventures (JVs). The CSVO ensures that all initiatives are aligned with the Group’s vision, financial objectives, and compliance requirements.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the corporate strategy and growth roadmap.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across target sectors (defense, energy, infrastructure, technology, industrial).
- Oversee market intelligence and ensure strategic alignment with UAE priorities and Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.
Joint Ventures & Partnerships
- Lead the structuring and negotiation of partnerships, alliances, and JVs.
- Manage relationships with international partners, investors, and government stakeholders.
- Ensure all ventures are vetted for financial, legal, and reputational risk before execution.
Corporate Development
- Work with Business Development to convert pipeline opportunities into strategic ventures.
- Collaborate with Finance for feasibility, valuations, and deal financing structures.
- Collaborate with Legal for compliance, contracts, and risk mitigation.
Committees & Governance
- Serve as a core member of the Investment & Ventures Committee (IVC).
- Present strategic recommendations and venture cases to the CEO and IVC for approval.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all strategic initiatives.
Execution & Monitoring
- Oversee the transition from venture approval → execution → performance monitoring.
- Track JV/partnership performance and ensure the Group captures management fees, equity returns, and strategic influence.
Skills
- Strategic planning, M&A, venture building.
- Financial modeling and deal structuring.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication in English (Arabic a plus).
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Number of qualified JV/partnership opportunities presented and approved.
- Value of management fees and equity stakes secured.
- ROI from strategic ventures within first 12–24 months.
- Alignment of ventures with Abu Dhabi and UAE strategic priorities.
- Contribution to annual revenue/profit targets.

Pay: AED40,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
