Key Results Accountabilities

• Perform any other tasks and responsibilities related to the job and assigned by the direct manager.
• Prepare, review, develop and follow-up of the implementation of the general framework for support Startup companies in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Agencies and sectors.
• Manage, review, development, and follow-up of ideas in the idea management system, in addition to the ideas received from the approved idea submission channels in RTA in coordination with the Agencies and sectors and submit related reports.
• Prepare, develop, and dissemination of the thought and culture of innovation and competitiveness in RTA through conducting training courses, workshops, and innovation events and activities, in coordination with the respective departments.
• Establish & develop a business incubator to support startups and entrepreneurs, preparing and developing relevant policies and processes, following up on their implementation, and proposing and implementing supporting programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Develop cooperation and partnership relationships with stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem to ensure the strengthening of RTA’s leadership position.
• Prepare and development of RTA’s innovation labs, prepare annual plans, supervise their implementation, follow up and develop all their activities, attract ideas, and ensure the participation of all segments in submitting ideas.
• Provide support and assistance to RTA employees in agencies and sectors in the field of innovation management.
• Manage, implement and follow-up of the innovation management framework plan and proposing projects and initiatives to close improvement and development opportunities that contribute to strengthening the RTA’s position in the results of the Dubai Government Excellence Program and local and international excellence programs in coordination with the respective departments in RTA.
• Prepare & development, implement, sustain, and follow up of innovation policies, processes, and frameworks for innovation in RTA, and periodically measure and report progress and key performance indicators results.
• Prepare & development of RTA’s innovation strategy in line with the Authority’s strategy and the best global and pioneering practices, supervise its implementation and sustainability by following up the implementation of related projects, initiatives and indicators and proposing the required corrective action plans and periodically prepare the required progress reports.
• Measure, follow up, and analyze the performance indicators of the innovation strategy and its operations and submit periodic reports on the causality and developmental and improvement actions.
• Follow up on the implementation of approved initiatives and projects related to innovation section, follow up on measuring the impact of their implementation, and submit periodic reports on them in coordination with the relevant authorities.
• Manage, review, develop and follow up the implementation of RTA’s intellectual property framework in coordination with those concerned to develop and register intellectual property and continuously update the intellectual property database.
• Follow up on evaluating the level of innovation maturity across RTA’s agencies and sectors.
