Identify and develop online marketing campaigns and tools, including email marketing and newsletter marketing for RTA and its initiatives.
Secure editorial placements on major online portals such as AOL, Yahoo, MSN, etc.
Support web development and marketing efforts, including the development of micro-sites, web campaigns, and site functionality.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Secure mentions of RTA in major trend features covering the web.
Build and maintain relationships to secure coverage with key entertainment and vertical bloggers, magazines, and websites.
Plan and execute projects in close cooperation with internal RTA stakeholders, including the MCC team, IT Department, E-government Team, and other agencies.
Monitor and evaluate new technologies and promotional vehicles to ensure RTA remains at the forefront of web media innovations.
Submit content offerings for awards and lists, such as the Online Journalism Awards and Best of the Web.
Collect data and evaluate the performance of promotional vehicles, providing reports on successes and trends using key measurement techniques like BlogPulse, Google Trends, and Yahoo Buzz Index.
Deliver specifications to IT and coordinate implementation from conception through testing and market launch.
Serve as a liaison with other departments, initiative owners, and the Corporate Communications team to leverage digital resources and assets.
Promote RTA's digital content portfolio and specific digital media offerings (sites/pages, blogs, widgets, online videos) in online media.
