Job Responsibilities :

• Establish risk management framework for all aspects of risk across the Company
• Develop, review and update risk management framework
• Collaborate with the Board in strategic decision-making and risk planning
• Monitor risk-taking activities and exposures to ensure compliance with VA regulations, VARA Rulebooks, and company policies
• Oversee the risk management department
• Maintain relationships with all business units, advising on risk principles and practices
• Report risk management activities to the Board
• Manage risk training programs for the Board, management, and staff
• Stay informed on emerging risks related to climate, technology, economy, regulation, politics, and competition
• Manage relationships with stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and board members

Job Requirements :

• 10+ years of relevant risk management experience, preferably in financial institutions with digital finance exposure
• Strong knowledge of VA Regulations and VARA Rulebooks
• Deep understanding of digital asset markets
• Strong leadership skills
