Job summary

Finance House is seeking a visionary Head of Retail Risk Management to own end-to-end retail credit risk strategies, from origination to portfolio management. You will lead the development of data-driven risk models, AI decision engines, and robust governance to drive growth with controlled risk in the UAE market.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in retail credit risk.
• Proven experience building, validating, and implementing decision support systems.
• Extensive experience with AI-based decision engines, governance, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and lead a high performing Retail Risk department.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Retail Lending, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Service teams.
• Define, own, and evolve the retail credit risk appetite and strategy.
• Provide risk leadership to support sustainable and profitable growth.
• Drive portfolio analytics and performance measurement for opportunities in risk and profitability.
• Lead AI-based decision engines across origination, underwriting, limit management, pricing, and early warning systems.
• Oversee development, validation, governance, and lifecycle management of advanced credit risk models.
• Establish tester and learn frameworks to improve decisioning outcomes.
• Contribute to scalable data infrastructure for analytics and real-time decisioning.
• Develop customer risk segmentation and differentiated credit strategies.
