Job summary

Caliberly is seeking a highly experienced Chief Resource Geologist to lead all resource geology activities for our Dubai-based gold mining operations. You will own geological modeling, database governance, and high-quality resource estimates.

The role requires 20+ years in resource geology, expertise in Surpac/Datamine/Micromine/Leapfrog, and a strong grasp of JORC/NI 43-101. relocation to Dubai on a full-time basis is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20+ years experience in resource geology within gold mining.
• Experience in geological modeling, resource estimation and reporting.
• Proficiency with geology software (Surpac, Datamine, Micromine, Leapfrog).
• Strong knowledge of international resource reporting codes (JORC/NI 43-101).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all resource geology activities including geological modeling and estimation.
• Oversee the geological database ensuring data integrity and compliance with reporting standards.
• Develop and implement resource estimation methodologies and QA/QC protocols.
• Collaborate with exploration teams to integrate new data into resource models.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior geologists.
