Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Industry: Renewable Energy – Solar Power Plant Development

Location : Based in Dubai however frequent travel to various CIS countries will be necessary

Role Overview:

The COO will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of solar power plant development projects from inception to completion. This includes strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring operational excellence across engineering, construction, procurement, and project management functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company's renewable energy goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project planning, design, and execution.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, permitting, and environmental assessments.
• Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Optimize workflows and establish performance metrics to achieve operational targets.
• Build partnerships with stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and governmental agencies.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and timelines, addressing any risks or challenges proactively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in COO or senior leadership roles, ideally in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• In-depth understanding of solar power plant development, engineering, and construction processes.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking.
