About the Company

Arootah is a talent solutions firm purpose-built for the alternative investment industry. We advise and we execute, covering the full talent spectrum from entry to exit across five services: Talent Acquisition, Fractional Leadership, Talent Development, Retention & Compensation, and Transition.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and optimize operating infrastructure across alternative investment firms
• Oversee front-to-back office functions, including operations, finance, compliance, and technology
• Drive operational efficiency, process improvement, and cost optimization initiatives
• Partner with CIOs, founders, and senior leadership on firm strategy and execution
• Lead organizational design, vendor selection, and cross-functional alignment
• Manage growth, transformation, or turnaround initiatives

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Chief Operating Officer or equivalent senior leadership role within a hedge fund, private equity firm, or family office
• Deep understanding of investment firm operations and infrastructure
• Proven track record of scaling businesses, building teams, and driving execution
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in dynamic environments
