The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive responsible for managing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and performance across departments, with a particular focus on optimizing sales operations. The COO works closely with the CEO and leadership team to implement strategic plans, improve internal processes, and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and optimize the company’s operational systems, processes, and infrastructure.
Lead sales operations to ensure streamlined processes, performance tracking, and target achievement.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align goals and drive business growth.
Establish operational policies that promote company culture and vision.
Drive operational efficiencies and implement best practices across departments.
Analyze data to assess company performance and identify areas for improvement.
Support sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
Implement performance metrics and reporting systems for all operational areas, especially sales.
Mentor department heads and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in a senior operational role, preferably as COO or VP of Operations.
Strong background in sales operations, revenue strategy, or commercial operations.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operations.
Solid understanding of business functions including HR, Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (MBA preferred).
Preferred Skills :
Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Proficiency in using data to make strategic decisions.
Strong understanding of sales funnel management, lead conversion, and revenue optimization.
Ability to drive cultural change and lead organizational transformation.
