Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officer role based in Abu Dhabi within a boutique fund in ADGM.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Your primary goal will be to increase our organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. The role has a small team and would be critical in terms of mentoring/coaching. The role is very hands on covering all operational areas of the business.

Experience in ECM/DCM/Primary Markets is a must.

Responsibilities

• Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy
• Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
• Identify new market opportunities
• Present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO/board
• Working closely with various business heads on transactions across multiple global jurisdictions
• Interfacing with local and global regulatory bodies

Qualifications

• 15+ years' of executive experience
• Primary Markets experience - structured products/Fixed Income preferred but open if someone has relevant ECM experience
• Strategic planning experience - including hiring, deal sourcing and third-party vendor experience
• Emerging Markets experience a strong preference
• Legal/Accounting qualifications would be strongly preferred
• Board level experience required
• Strong written and verbal and presentation skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
