Job Description :

Provides direct supervision and management of all assigned instructors in the delivery of all technical education and officer courses, as well as Logistics and General Subjects training for AL TAIF TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC at the Training School. Ensures the process is maintained within the latest ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standards. Learns, understands and complies with applicable health, safety and environment directives. Participates in the development of a safe and healthy working environment. Ensures compliance with all company policies, manuals, procedures and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Advise the Senior Manager, Faculty on all course development and delivery functions including instructor progress and performance.
  • Supervise and train all instructors within the Logistics and General Subjects section in preparing and delivering standard performance oriented “best practise” training.
  • Ensure all training is developed and executed in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
  • Ensure all assigned instructors use all coaching and remedial training methods required to maintain the highest possible graduation rate (ensuring all standards are met).
  • Supervise the organising and delivery of National Service and Officer courses.
  • Supervise the preparation and delivery of operator’s courses, and the testing and evaluation of technicians in the military.
  • Maintain records of instructor performance, providing them with regular counselling and with thirty-day, six month and annual competence / performance evaluations.
  • Develop lesson plans and integrate computer technology enhancements (learning management system, student information system, and virtual and augmented reality training) into course delivery.
  • Ensure all administrative support for courses, conferences, seminars and any exercises hosted by the section instructors has been coordinated with the relevant individuals.
  • Ensure all equipment, supplies and computer support is maintained and accounted for.
  • Support other members of the faculty in fulfilling their roles.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Senior Manager, Faculty and the Director, Technical Training School.

Experience and Education :

  • Bachelor degree required, Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in the same field.
  • Graduate of a recognised school or military training program in combat vehicles is preferred. A minimum of six to eight years of experience as a senior instructor is preferred.
  • A minimum of six years of experience as an instructor in combat vehicle technical training is required.
  • A minimum of five years of military experience is an advantage.

Key Skills :

  • Previous experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is an advantage.
  • Excellent writing skills with aptitude in preparing studies, briefings or doctrinal literature on a subject matter is an advantage.
  • The ability to conduct analysis, and develop performance oriented instruction and lesson plans is required.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
  • Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.
