Job summary

Fujairah Aviation Academy seeks an experienced Flight Instructor Manager to supervise the instructor team, conduct standardization flights, and ensure regulatory compliance across single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument disciplines.

The role covers training operations, examinations, and oversight of student progression, with a focus on safety culture and SOP/SMS adherence. A CPL/ATPL with FI/IRI/CRI and Flight Examiner privileges are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of active CFI experience.
• At least 4,000 hours of instructional flight time.
• Valid CPL or ATPL - Aeroplane.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate flight instructors to maintain syllabus alignment.
• Conduct standardization flights, checks and peer evaluations across single/multi-engine and instruments.
• Monitor duties, hours, and ratings for regulatory compliance and workload balance.
• Deliver pre/post-flight briefings and ensure TEM-focused training.
• Authorize tests and endorsements; audit documentation and provide feedback.
• Track student progression and audit training files for accuracy.
• Lead safety culture and ensure SOPs/SMS compliance; coordinate with maintenance and dispatch.
