We're Hiring: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Level: Executive / Senior Leadership

We're looking for an experienced, strategic, and commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's financial strategy, planning, reporting, risk management, financial operations, and long-term business growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial leadership experience, excellent analytical and decision-making skills, and the ability to translate financial information into actionable business strategies. This role is ideal for a senior finance professional who can work independently, collaborate with executive leadership, and operate effectively in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling
• Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, budgeting, and financial operations
• Monitor company financial performance, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and financial health
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Establish and monitor financial KPIs, performance metrics, and management reporting
• Develop accurate financial forecasts and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and capital allocation
• Oversee annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, expenses, and profitability across business units
• Identify financial risks, operational risks, and opportunities for cost optimization
• Develop and maintain effective financial controls, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and reporting
• Oversee internal and external audit processes
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, financial institutions, tax advisors, legal advisors, and other external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE financial, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements
• Support corporate structuring, financing, investment, fundraising, and capital management activities when required
• Evaluate business investments, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, partnerships, and major expenditures
• Provide financial analysis and due diligence for major business decisions
• Support investor relations, shareholder reporting, and board-level financial presentations when applicable
• Lead and develop finance and accounting teams
• Establish financial systems, reporting processes, and technology improvements
• Oversee ERP, accounting, financial planning, reporting, and business intelligence systems
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automation, efficiency, and cost management
• Collaborate with sales, operations, procurement, HR, legal, and other departments
• Ensure effective financial governance and accountability across the organization
• Support business expansion and strategic growth initiatives in the UAE and wider GCC region
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis, reports, and presentations for senior management and the Board
• Perform other strategic financial responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• 8–15+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, corporate finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably as CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller, or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• MBA, Master's degree, or professional qualification is a plus
• ACCA, CPA, CMA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and corporate finance
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, working capital, financial controls, and risk management
• Experience developing financial strategies and supporting executive-level decision-making
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, business valuation, and investment analysis
• Experience managing audits, banking relationships, tax matters, and external financial advisors
• Familiarity with UAE accounting, taxation, VAT, corporate tax, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Experience with ERP, accounting, financial reporting, and business intelligence systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Strong commercial awareness and business judgment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions under pressure
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism
• Experience working with UAE or GCC-based businesses is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of the UAE business environment is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Arabic language skills are a plus
• Based in the United Arab Emirates
• Legally authorized to work in the UAE
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote executive environment
