Chief Financial Officer - Hospitality / F&B
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organisation, ensuring financial stability, profitability, and strategic growth in alignment with business objectives. The role requires deep financial expertise, strong leadership, and a thorough understanding of the F&B industry, including cost management, supply chain financing, and revenue optimisation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive growth, profitability, and sustainability
- Provide financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning
- Support business expansion, mergers, and acquisitions, including financial due diligence
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Monitor key financial metrics, ensuring optimal cash flow and working capital management
- Implement and maintain financial controls and risk management frameworks
- Manage financial audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Optimise cost structures, including procurement, production, and distribution costs
- Ensure cost efficiency across supply chain and inventory management processes
- Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability
- Oversee investment strategies, capital allocation, and funding requirements
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions
- Evaluate financing options, including debt and equity financing, to support business needs
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies with operational goals
- Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board on financial matters
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards
- Identify and mitigate financial risks impacting the business
- Maintain strong internal controls and ethical financial practices
Key Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA / CPA / CFA preferred
- 12+ years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience in the F&B industry, including restaurant chains, hotels or entertainment industry
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, corporate finance, and investment strategies
- Expertise in cost control, supply chain finance, and pricing strategies
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
- Experience in UAE and international market
- Experience working in a setup where reporting goes to holding companies
